Daily Deviation

Given 2012-12-05
The last evening light captured in february.stars by ~poorchiggies brings welcome flashes of warmth to an otherwise cold, shrouded landscape. ( Suggested by lameboat and Featured by arctoa )

A great combination of light and blur to create a fine abstract piece :)

I love that, even though the scenery is recognizable, what you've done with it creates a completely different mood than what a sharp picture of the same scene would do. Also, the tones look fantastic. Quite an effect to achieve with any lens :)

It does look like stained glass. Normally I don't gravitate to abstract pieces, but there's something about this one... I really love the colours especially ^_^

If you can create this art "better", then you should.

Okay, maybe he shouldn't be saying that, but now you're making yourself look immature by firing up a conversation (which wasn't even an argument) that was already settled and had nothing to do with you. I totally get your point but sometimes its better not to say anything. And he doesn't have to make anything better because it's not worth proving anything.

Not sure how I'm "firing up" a conversation when i'm encouraging someone to produce art...

You're not encouraging him, you're intimidating him.

If he is intimidated by my encouraging him to produce art, perhaps he should rethink leaving rude comments on other peoples work :)

Nothing is "worth" a DD, as it's not an award :) Instead, it's a feature chosen by the community volunteer for that gallery, and as such, you should address any concerns with what's being featured with the volunteer that featured it.

Whilst that might be true, and there are more impressive pieces in her gallery, you should probably talk to ^arctoa about that, instead of posting on the artist's page. She didn't choose to be featured, after all.
